Owen, great work here. The one thing that jumps out at me here - did Haupt put Simmons fourth on his MVP ballot then leave him off all three All-NBA teams entirely? Beyond the distance from any American-driven MVP narrative, that alone seems bizarre and incongruous, right?
Yeah, thats pretty odd. Although ive seen many cases where a voter has one player higher on their MVP ballot than another player. But then has the same player lower on their All-NBA ballots. But dont think ive ever seen someone leave the person they voted for MVP off their All-NBA ballot entirely
