I know the Tony Allen/Golden State example is the easy lead in, but I think that strategy gets overplayed. TA had a bad hamstring in that series. He played 15 minutes in game 4, didn't play at all in game 5, and played 5 minutes in game 6. 20 minutes over three games probably isn't the reason the Warriors won that series.

I was surprised to see Jaylen Brown on the initial list of Incent's. But, then I remembered how frequently he backs the ball out when a Center late-switches onto him.

I'm old enough to remember sportswriters calling basketball cagers. Looked it up just to make sure and had never heard this definition of why.

The term "cager" is a nickname for a basketball player, and it originated in the early 1900s. The term comes from the cages that separated the audience from the court in early professional games, which were designed to keep the ball in-bounds and speed up the game.
